Shocking?

Let me tell you a story about my friend "X". A guy that got a piercing called "Magic Cross"...

Eventhough he has had a maximum of eleven piercings, his first was a genital piercing. It was a 14ga Prince Albert, made in a shady, doubtful Bazar (kinda’ flea market ) in the northern area of México City. By that time he had no clue about piercings and didn’t knew of any professional piercers in the city. He was naïve and unaware of the basic hygienic procedures that are needed in any responsible and respectable professional piercing studio. Fortunatedly, that first piercing and his second one, an Ampallang (which was made in a better –but not the best- piercing location *please note that I’m not saying piercing studio), healed just fine and they both undoubtfully have complied with the high hopes he had on them.
Later on he really got himself into finding more information about piercings, mostly in genital piercings, and he really looked hard in all the city to find some good piercing studios. Well, he didn't find lots of fine studios, but found two really good and professional, though, in which he completed his project for a Magic Cross.
As many of you are probably not aware of, a MC is completed when an Ampallang and Apadravya piercing are present at the same time, so that was the way this guy was going.
While he didn´t know a lot about male anatomy when his Ampallang was done, later he learned that the Apadravya goes through the urethra, what makes this piercing like having two smaller piercings that will take a little shorter time to heal, also because of the urine flow (sterile before it comes out), that cleans it every time you pee, so the first new thing he knew before having his MC done, was that his Ampallang was not going through the urethra, but just above of it. But, oh well, it was good to know that my friend's Apadravya would take a little shorter to heal, because it's just not nice to find blood in the sheets when only two guys are living in the house.
So he didn't decide if it was going or not through the urethra, but apparently, he didn’t want the Apadravya in the regular position, which is right through the glans. So he asked for it right at the end of the glans, in the top of the shaft.
He set up an appointment at the studio and I waited for it very nervously, anxiously. From what I saw, I don’t recommend any further reading or anything once you have decided to get it done….heh…. it really makes people imagine that things are worst than reality.
At the end of the next week he showed up early and filled the paperwork, signed it and entered the operations area behind the counter, very hygienic, like a hospital, also separated from the sterilization area, really neat, apparently!.
The guy at the studio closed the doors (for a little bit more privacy) and started the whole procedure. He showed him every thing he was going to use, previously packed and sterilized. He marked me several times with a brand new marker, and set everything up with extreme care and lots of glove changes. Everything ready, he asked him to breath deeply and relax. By the way, he told him before that no forceps would be used during the procedure, since the position he asked for the Apadravya needed a little tilted insertion which was not possible using forceps, so I guess he knew it was no forceps pain, just the needle.
Again… breath in, out, relax…. He did thoroughly and seconds later the pain of the needle going through my penis was felt. He actually felt it passing through the cavernosum body, then getting to the urethra and going in again in the spongous body. It was really intense, but not as painful as one might think, according to him. Well, the needle was through and out, the catheter was in and the barbell was coming.
One note about this: In México there are not many piercings done in the genital area (at least compared with the rest of the piercing locations), so its hard to get good jewelry in the sizes that these kind of piercings demand (normally starting on 10 ga. or 12 ga, so its best to have them done in 14 ga, so you can get the right size, or long enough (it has to fit your penis PERFECTLY so you wont have any problems using it) with excellent quality jewelry.
So far so good, but then trouble started….when the barbell pushed in trough the catheter, right after the needle was taken out, the barbell tip got stocked right at the exit hole….strange, but real, and the piercer was pushing and pushing and the barbell simply wont come out, so he pushed it for around 30 seconds…and didn’t come out, so he pulled out the barbell, inserted a taper and pushed it for another 10 seconds until the tip of the taper was out….then he put the barbell at the end and five more seconds of pain….pushed trough, and it was all over…..dammit! the whole thing took like 70 seconds which were -no doubt about it- full of pure and simple PAIN. Oh well, the barbell was through and it was just a matter of putting the bead. My friend wasn't crying, instead a tiny nervous smile got drawn in his lips.
Thank God! It was all over and he was really happy. Didn’t bleed that much, just a little, and he drove home trembling and proud of himself. When he arrived, I was waiting for him with a big, fat joint to celebrate the ocassion.
So the next two weeks were fine, except that whenever he got a hard on, he says it would REALLY HURT, so mostly the first two weeks, but the whole first month he had bad times waking up in the middle on the night going to pee or something because he had to make his dick to "let go"! Damn! Now that I remember it, its all laughs, but at that time I was really pissed about this, afraid and nervous for my friend. But I knew that he had to persevere in order to get it, and he did.
The pain faded out when the first month passed, and the second month didn’t hurt that much, not painful, really. When it was like two months and a half old, he told me he used them for the first time and it was AWESOME! Mostly for the girl, but he liked it very much though. He apparently touched "there" in a very special way. Sexually speaking, the Apadravya is intense, sensual and very effective!
By this time he didn't tried it that much. Not THAT many positions or anything, but he says that definitively was worth it and he didn’t have any infections or problems later on.
Ever since the first day, he washes it daily with neutral soap, the first two months he applied a gel that the piercer gave him. But nowadays he just washes it well and that’s it.
So the PA was stretched to 6ga and he says it's just an excellent piercing, its even more than he expected it to be: It's highly sensual and it touches the penis from the inside, when you get to this gauge, your partner will definitively feel it as well, so he's more than happy with it.
They have worked just perfectly because they not only touch certain zones with a different feelling, they’re simply very erotic and the whole action of having sex has a completely new meaning for him and the girls that are curious and adventurous enough. Of course that I have to admit that not every woman would like to have her self touched in the manner the genital piercings do. My friend says that if you’re not careful enough, you can hurt your partner or get hurt yourself (well, I guess some people had them done basically for that same reason). But -personally- I’m a complete hedonist and prone to have pleasure (eventhough some little pain is not bad once in a while) in every possible way.
So its four years old now, and his Magic Cross is my friend's pride. He likes it a lot and would encourage anyone who wants to get it, but warn them that the sensations are VERY intense, and you have to deal with a bunch of cares and stuff, probably for a whole year. But he sincerely declares that it is well worth it.

Shocking?

Shocking indeed... and after the goose bumps, a certain, quiet, morbid and sex driven cuiosity...
